Origin: Perigord, France
A petit goat’s milk cheese, with a velvety texture. Clean lactic flavours are complimented by a citrus tang. As the cheese ages it will become nuttier and the rind can wrinkle and turn bluish. Crottin means ‘little droppings’ referencing the unusual shape of the cheese.
